Robotics & Control

We write the state estimation, motion planning and control loops that make a robot arm or mobile platform go where it is told, and we prove them in simulation before they touch your hardware.

Industrial robotic arm in a manufacturing cell

What kind of robotics work do we take on?

Motion and control software for arms and mobile robots: inverse kinematics, 6-DOF trajectory generation, closed-loop control, and ROS 2 navigation. Where hand-written control struggles, we train policies with reinforcement learning in simulation.

Why simulate first?

Because a bad gain on real hardware breaks things. We run the controller in simulation (Genesis) against your robot's model, tune it there, and only then move to the bench.

Where has this been tested?

  • JAXA-NASA Kibo RPC 2025: 4th in the global round, programming the Astrobee free-flying robot on the International Space Station. Localization, keep-out-zone mapping and precise positioning in microgravity.
  • International Rover Design Challenge 2023: 11th globally, with terrain segmentation for the rover and inverse kinematics for its 6-DOF arm.

Competition hardware is unforgiving: you get one run, on a robot you can't touch.
